Big tiny Cats

De laatste dagen ben ik druk bezig met zoveel mogelijk verschillende dieren te maken met de Fox Builder Punch. Vandaag vertel ik jullie hoe je deze schattige grote wilde katten kunt maken. Ik hou van grote katten, ik kan er uren naar kijken en er zijn zoveel verschillende soorten! Ik kan ze niet allemaal maken, heel veel soorten lijken erg veel op elkaar. Het enige wat je nodig hebt is de Fox Builder Punch, Owl Builder Punch, Foxy Friends stempelset, gekleurd papier, schaar, lijm, dimensionals en een zwarte fineliner.  Hiernaast heb ik voor de duidelijkheid alle onderdelen benoemd. Bij de Owl Builder Punch zitten 3 maten rondjes, deze benoem ik als klein, middel of groot rondje.


The past few days I have been very busy with the Fox Builder Punch. I want to create as many different animals as possible. Today I want to share how to make these Big Cats. I love big cats, I can watch them for hours and there are so many species! I can't make all of them, most of them are too similar. The only thing you need is the Fox Builder Punch, Owl Builder Punch, Foxy Friends stamp set, coloured cardstock, scissors, glue, dimensionals and a black fineliner. On the picture I named all the parts of the punch. The Owl Builder Punch has 3 different circles, I refer to them as small, middle or big circle.

Jaguar / Jaguar:

1x Hoofd / Head

1x Staart / Tail

1x Masker / Mask

2x Lijf / Body

Stempel het gezichtje met snorharen op een wit stukje papier en knip het mondje uit. Stempel ook op het hoofd en plak het witte stukje erop.

Stamp the face with whiskers on a piece of paper and cut out the mouth. Stamp it also on the head and glue the white piece on top of it.

Vouw het masker dubbel en knip de oogvlekken uit en plak de gele ogen erin.

Fold the mask in half and cut out the eye spots and glue the yellow eye in it.

Keer het witte lijf om en plak een stukje ervan op het gele lijf.

Turn the white body and glue a piece of it on the yellow body.

Verdeel de vlekken over de staart, lijf, hoofd en teken er halve cirkels omheen.

Divide the spots over the tail, head, body and draw half circles around it.

Borneokat:

Knip een stuk van de witte staat en plak deze op het lijf.

Serval / Serval:

Stempel het gezichtje met snorharen op een wit stukje papier en knip het mondje uit. Stempel ook op het hoofd en plak het witte stukje erop.

Plak de roze neus op het gezicht en kleur de randjes zwart.
Glue the pink nose in place and colour the edges black.

Knip de witte en gele staart doormidden en maak hier de oren van.
Cut the white and yellow tail in half and make the ears with it.

Teken met fineliner de strepen en stippen.
Draw the stripes and spots with a fineliner.

Poema / Cougar:

Knip een stuk van de witte staat en plak deze op het lijf.

Vouw het masker dubbel en knip de oog vlekken uit het masker en plak de ogen erin.

Stempel het gezicht af op beide hoofden, knip bij het witte hoofd de onderste rand af en plak deze op het gekleurde hoofd.

Stamp the face on both heads, cut off the lower line of the white head and glue it on the coloured head.

Plak 3 haarplukjes overelkaar (zwart in het midden) en plak ze onder het hoofd vast.

Glue 3 hair pieces together (black in the middle) and glue it underneath the head.

Jachtluipaard / Cheetah:

Caracal / Caracal:

Teken de gezichtkenmerken en plak de ogen erop.

Stempel het gezicht en plak de roze neus erop.
Stamp the face and glue the pink nose on top of it.

Knip de staart smaller en plak een haarplukje op het eind.
Cut the tail smaller and glue a hair piece on the end of the tail.

Plak de rest van de haarplukjes rond het hoofd aan de achterkant vast, alleen de bovenste plukjes aan de voorkant vastplakken.
Glue the other hair pieces around the back of the head, only glue the hair pieces on top of the head at the front.

Nevelpanter / Clouded Leopard:

Knip de oren van het zwarte hoofd af en halveer ze, plak vervolgens op de oren.
Cut the ears off the black head and cut them in half, then flue them on the ears.

Teken de gezichtkenmerken en plak de ogen erop.
Draw the face marks and glue the eyes on.

Stempel het gezichtje met snorharen op een wit stukje papier en knip het mondje uit. Stempel ook op het hoofd en plak het witte stukje erop.

Cut the middle circles in half, devide them over the body/ tail and draw half circles around them.

Zoo Friends

Van de staart knip je een stukje af, dat is voor het kraagje.

Cut a piece of the tail and glue it on the body.

De grote rondjes plak je over de oren heen met daarover weer de plukjes haar.

Glue the big circles on top of the ears and on top of that the hair pieces.

Hyena / Hyena:

Het hoofd is een omgekeerd lijfje die ik een stukje heb ingeknipt om de oren te creëren.

Knip van het zwarte hoofd de oren af en plak deze op het witte hoofd, knip daarna de oren rond. 

Cut the ears off the black head and glue them on the white head, cut the ears round.

Knip het masker door de helft en knip hem iets dunner voor op het hoofd.

Cut the mask in half and make it a bit thinner. This piece goes on the head.

Beer / Bear:

Knip de oren rond af en plak de neusjes in het midden.

Cut the ears round and glue the noses inside.

Knip het 2e masker door de helft en plak deze op het lijfje.

Mandril Baviaan / Mandril Baboon:

Knip bij het bruine hoofd de zijkanten eraf tot aan de oren en plak het hoofd op het gele hoofd.

Take the brown head, cut off the sides up to the ears and glue this head on the yellow head.

Plak de gele haarplukjes aan elkaar en plak deze onderaan het hoofd.

Glue the yellow hairpieces together and glue it underneath the head.

Lijm het witte masker onder het hoofd en laat dit een stukje uitsteken.

Glue the white mask underneath the head and make sure it sticks out a little.

Knip het blauwe masker doormidden en lijm ze aan elkaar vast. In heb midden plak je een stukje van het roze masker.

Cut the blue mask in half an glue them together. Glue a piece of the pink mask in the middle.

Knip het zwarte masker door midden en knip hem rond. Plak hem bovenaan het blauw/roze, hier kun je de ogen in plakken.

Cut the black mask in half and cut it round. Glue this on top of the blue/pink, you can glue the eyes on top of this. 

Knip de oren rond af en plak de bruine haarplukjes bovenaan het hoofd.

Cut the ears round and glue the brown hairpieces on top of the head.

 

Ringstaartmaki / Ring-tailed Lemur:

1x Lijf / Body

1x Neus / Nose

Knip een stuk van de witte staat en plak deze op het lijf.

Cut a piece off the white tail and glue it on the body.

Knip de zwarte staart in stukjes en plak de streepjes op de witte staart. knip de staart daarna smaller.

Cut the black tail in pieces and glue the stripes on the white tail and cut the tail smaller.

Knip uit het zwarte en grijze hoofd de stukken voor het gezicht.

Take the black and grey head and cut out the face pieces.

Pinguin / Penguin:

Knip de oren van het hoofd af en knip de poten van het lijf af.

Cut off the ears and legs of the head/body piece.

Knip het witte lijf kleiner dan het zwarte lijf en plak vast.

Cut the white body smaller than the black body and glue it on.

Knip het zwarte masker doormidden en plak ze over het lijf.

Cut the black mask in half en glue them on top of the body.

IJsbeer / Polar Bear:

1x Hoofd / Head

Knip zelf een vis / Cut your own fish

Knip de oren rond af, vouw het masker dubbel en knip hier de armen uit

Cut the ears round, fold the mask in half and cut out the arms.

Neushoorn / Rhino:

3x Hartje uilenpons / Heart Owl Builder Punch

3x Lijf / Body

Keer 1 lijf om en knip van de poten de oren.

Reverse one body and cut the legs into ears.

Knip bij het 2e lijf de poten uit en gebruik ze als voorpoten.

Take the second body, cut out the legs and use them as front paws.

Knip de hartjes doormidden en plak ze als nagels op de voorpoten.

Cut the heats in half amd glue them on the front paws for the nails.

Chimpansee / Chimpanzee:

1x Hoofd / Head

Knip je eigen banaan / Cut your own banana

Draai het zwarte lijf om en knip een stukje weg zodat je grote oren krijgt.

Turn the black body and cut a piece out to create the big ears.

Knip uit het hoofd het licht gedeelte van het gezicht en plak de ogen erin.

Cut the face out of the head piece and glue the eyes on it.

Pak het lichte lijf, gebruik een stuk voor de buik, gebruik de benen om de oren te maken.

Take the light body and use a piece for the tummy and use the legs to make the ears.

Vouw het masker dubbel en knip hier de armen uit, plaats de banaan ertussen.

Fold the mask in half and cut out the arms and place the banana between.

Rode Panda / Red Panda:

Knip de witte oren af en plak ze op het oranje hoofd.

Cut off the ears and glue them on the orange head.

Knip een stuk van de zwarte staat en plak deze op het lijf.

Cut a piece off the black tail and glue it on the body.

Teken met inkt de strepen op de staart.

Draw the stripes on the tail with ink.

Kangoeroe / Kangaroo:

Knip een ovaal hoofd uit het lijf.

Cut an oval head out off the body.

Vouw het masker dubbel en knip hier de armen uit

Fold the mask in half and cut out the arms.

 

Knip de kleine stukjes voor de oren uit het bruine masker en plak ze op het grijze masker.

Cut the little pieces for the ears out of the brown mask and glue them on the grey mask.

Knip uit een restje bruin een buidel en baby kangoeroe.

Take a piece brown and cut out a pouch and baby kangaroo.

Pandabeer / Panda:

Knip van het zwarte hoofd de oren af en plak deze op het witte hoofd, knip daarna de oren rond.

Knip de zwarte oog vlekken uit het masker.

Cut the black eye pieces out of the mask.

Knip de poten schuin af van het witte lijf en plak het middenstuk op het witte lijf.

Cut off the legs of the white body and glue the middle piece on the black body.

Ik ben aan de slag gegaan met deze bundel om te laten zien hoeveel mogelijkheden er zijn. In deze blogpost een uitvouwbare kaart  met 'Forest Friends' Neem ook een kijkje op mijn Facebookpagina, daar loopt ook een Fox Builder Punch challenge. Elke dag plaats ik een nieuw beestje gemaakt met deze pons.

De kaart:

Hoogte van de kaart: 11 cm

Breedte van de kaart: 8 cm

Plak 2 lange stroken van 11 cm hoog aan elkaar vast en maak een vouw bij elke 8 cm. Teken met hulp van een rond voorwerp een cirkel in het midden en knip deze uit. Als de kaart opgevouwen zit kun je makkelijk een nieuwe cirkel teken vanuit je eerste gat op het volgende blaadje en knip deze uit. herhaal dit tot er in ieder velletje een rond gat zit. Maak voor ieder gat een wit en grijs rondje die wat kleiner zijn zodat ze in het gat van de kaart zweven. Plak een wit en grijs rondje op elkaar met een stukje linnen thread of ander touwtje ertussen. Als je touwtje te dik is kun je de rondjes aan elkaar vastplakken met dimensionals. 

Kies een paar blaadjes designer papier en snij die op 7,8 x 10,8 cm voor iedere van de kaart die je wil beplakken. Leg het stukje design papier op de kaart en trek de cirkel over op het design papier. Knip de cirkel uit en herhaal dit met de rest van de stukjes designer paper. 

Pak de kleine rondjes erbij, doe wat lijm op de uiteinden van het touwtje en plak deze in het midden van de rondjes in de kaart. Plak hierover het designer papier vast met lijm of dimensionals afhankelijk van de dikte van je touwtje. Voor de voorkant heb ik de Hardwood stempel gebruikt in plaats van designer papier. De basis van de kaart is nu klaar. 

Forest Friends:

Vos, Wolf, Stinkdier, Wasbeer, Bever, Hertje & Eekhoorn (met eekhoorntjesbrood)

  Het gezicht en de staart van de wasbeer is gestempeld met de stempel uit de Foxy Friends stempelset. Het donkere kraagje van de wasbeer is ook gestempeld met een omgekeerd lijfje.

 De streep over het gezicht van de wolf is een half maskertje. Bij de bever zijn de oortjes rond geknipt. Ook zijn maskertje is rond afgeknipt en uit wit papier heb ik 2 tandjes geknipt. In plaats van de oor binnenkantjes van de pons heb ik bij de bever 2 neusjes gebruikt. De staart is ook rond afgeknipt en de lijntjes zijn getekend met een fineliner.

 Het gewei en de voorpoten van het hertje komen uit de Foxy Friends stempelset. Zijn witte kraag is gemaakt van een half maskertje. Voor het stinkdier heb ik 3 staarten uitgeponst (1 zwarte en 2 witte) 1 witte staart is gebruikt voor zijn kraag, bij de ander heb ik de buitenste rand afgeknipt en op de zwarte staart geknipt.

 De oren heb ik afgeknipt en meer in het midden weer vastgeplakt. Ook een extra witte staart geponst voor het kraagje. Het gezichtje en de paddestoel komen uit de Foxy Friends stempelset.

SUO Challenge #152 Delight in Nature

Voor deze  Stamping Up Only challenge is het de bedoeling natuur te verwerken in je project. De nieuwe catalogus staat vol met natuur stempels: bloemen, zee, bos & dieren. Ik ben dol op natuur en heb gekozen voor de Foxy Friends stempel set gecombineerd met de Acorny Thank You stempel set. Bij de Foxy Friends stempel kun je ook een heel leuk papier blokje gebruiken. Helaas heb ik die nog niet in huis dus heb ik zelf een gezellige achtergrond gestempeld met de kleine paddenstoeltjes en 3 kleuren inkt.

For this SUO challenge you'll have to add some nature into your project. The new catalogue is full with stamps of nature: flowers, sea, forrest & animals. I love nature and chose the Foxy Friends stamp set combined with the Acorny Thank You stamp set. With the Foxy Friends you can use this lovely matching paper bloc. Unfortunately I don't own this paper bloc yet so I stamped a cute background using the tiny mushroom stamps and three ink colours.
